Governor Murphy attends the Meadowlands Pace
Manalapan, NJ — New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy attended the Meadowlands Pace on Saturday (July 17) and sat down for an interview with Gabe Prewitt.
The governor took the time to meet and greet everyone in Trotters and in the grandstand as he made his way to his interview. He then talked to customers outside after his winner’s circle appearance on his way back to Trotters.
During his interview with Prewitt, the governor stated that New Jersey is in full support of harness racing. He also spoke about the appropriations and how he has seen the positive influence they have had on our industry. He made it very clear that he intends on supporting our industry going forward.
